Tips and betting on them

Do your tips always win?

Of course not. If they did we would be charging much more than the bargain price of £10 per year, and we’d be living on our own exotic Caribbean Island. Nobody provides tips that always win (don’t believe anybody who says that they do). Here at Footymystic we provide you with the best tips we can possibly find.

What is your system?

Aha… You think there is a system? Betting folklore talks about systems but that’s all they are - folklore. The closest we have to a ‘system’ at Footymystic is hard work from dedicated tipsters who make careful predictions based on a vast range of factors in the leagues they follow.

So how do you pick your tips?

Carefully. And with dedication. We’re not interested in putting together a few games and telling you that you will make a fortune by betting on them. It doesn’t work like that. Our tipsters analyse specific leagues and carefully watch results, injuries, form, suspensions etc and local knowledge of those leagues to make conscientious predictions.

How much will I win?

That depends on three things.
1) Your stake (how much you spend on a bet).
2) The odds (how much you could potentially win from a bet).
3) The outcome (whether the bet wins or not).

If the odds are 2/1 and you place a £10 stake, and the bet wins, you will get a return of £30 (your £10 stake plus £20).
If the odds are 10/1 and you place a £1 stake, and the bet wins, you will get a return of £11 (your stake plus £10).
If the odds are 1/2 and you place a £5 stake you will return £7.50 (your £5 stake plus half of the stake which is £2.50).

How much should I bet?

That is entirely up to you. As a rule of thumb it’s best to set yourself a limit and stick to it. You will have very good days but remember you can also have bad days. Don’t bet any more than you can afford to lose. See our Responsible Gambling page for more details.
