  • World Cup Betting

As the European qualifying groups get underway for the 2018 World Cup Finals, we bring to you the early odds. These will obviously fluctuate as teams qualify but if you're confident now, get a bet on and take the odds at what will most likely be the best prices.

No surprise that World Champions, Germany are favourites at 9/2, or that last time's runners-up, Argentina (going well in South American qualifying) are second favourites at 11/2.

It then gets a little more interesting. Euro runners-up, France are 8/1 along with Brazil - both teams who promise so much but often find that final hurdle a little too high. Spain are just a little longer at 17/2.

Clearly the bookies think that the teams mentioned above are the ones with the best shout of lifting the trophy and it's hard to disagree but two years is a long time. The odds on the next group of teams are much longer - Belgium and Italy at 16/1, Columbia, England and Holland at 20/1.

Can Big Sam lead England to World Cup glory? If you're going to have a punt on England (lots of us do) when the finals start, why not do it now while the odds are more tempting? History tells us that a few quid each way would have more chance than a win bet!

European Champions, Portugal are out at 30/1 and Wales are 80/1. Can you see these as potential each way bets?

Hosts Russia are 25/1. Assuming all is fair, they will realistically have less chance than Portugal and Wales. If you go along with conspiracy theories, get some money on the Russians now!

For the romantics out there, the Republic of Ireland are 250/1, while Northern Ireland and Scotland are both 500/1.

  • Bundesliga Football Betting

The Bundesliga returns at the weekend and, as always, promises plenty of excitement and great football betting.

Footymystic and our members love our Bundesliga tips, probably because we always do so well with a great record of winning Bundesliga free tips and Bundesliga professional football tips. Keep an eye on what we'll be offering throughout the Bundesliga season.

So where do we start with our Bundesliga tips. Well at the top of course there's neither science nor magic involved in tipping  1/7 Bayern Munich to once again take the title. It gets a little more interesting if you think they might stumble as Borussia Dortmund are an almost tempting 6/1, although you might also like to think about the credentials of Bayer Leverkusen at 33/1.  The odds do however become a little more realistic if you remove Bayern from the equation with Dortmund at 1/2 and Leverkusen at a reasonably tempting 8/1 to essentially finish second.

Another pre-season bet to consider is for Borussia Monchengladbach to finish in the top four. They can be impressive and look set for a strong campaign, with the odds for a top four finish currently at a good value 13/8.

To celebrate the start of the season, our Rolling Acca free tip returns for the first game of the season on Friday evening. These football tips aim to turn £10 into as much as possible over the course of several games. Regulars to our site will remember £10 becoming four figure sums on various occasions, making huge profits.

It's never easy to find much value on Bayern Munich games but we've got a tip perfect for getting our Rolling Acca off to a winning start as the champions host Werder Bremen.

  • Weekend Premier League Preview

The Premier League weekend kicks-off with the Friday evening fixture between Manchester United and Southampton as the Red Devils look to capitalise on their winning start to the season and take another three points. The home win is 4/9.

On Saturday, Manchester City have a tricky visit to Stoke, who have a habit of stopping teams having it all their own way. The away win is is 7/10, as is Both Teams To Score. A win for Pep Guardiola's side and BTTS is a handy looking 12/5.

Liverpool will also be looking to take another three points and should be able to get a 4/7 away win at Burnley in what will be an early indicator of any potential issues with consistency for the reds.

Chelsea's trip to Watford should also be a formality and 8/11 represents a fair price for a victory.

The most fascinating game of the weekend could be the Leicester v Arsenal clash. The hosts (19/10) will be looking for their first win and show they can at least give some level of challenge at the top. Arsenal will want to show that they have the credentials to challenge for the title but only a 6/4 victory will convince anyone other than Arsene Wenger that they have any hope of doing so.

Can 15/2 Crystal Palace cause any problems on their trip to 4/9 Tottenham? If Spurs are going to mix it with the big boys in the top four they will need to show that they can ease to a win over their London rivals.

  • Premier League top scorer betting

As the Premier League kicks off again, it's worth having a bet on the player you think will be top scorer. This is wide open this year which means that there are some great prices available. Ibrahimovic looks a tasty bet at 8/1, if only because he has always been a superb scorer. He will be again but who could better him? At 16/1 you might want to look at Jamie Vardy. Leicester might not win the league again but Vardy will remain a constant threat and could score another hat full of goals.

    Premier League top scorer odds:

    Aguero 10/3

    Kane 7/1

    Ibrahimovic 8/1

    Lukaku 12/1

    Costa 14/1

    Vaerdy 16/1

    Giroud 20/1
